As I was driving today I turned on the radio and listened to Dave Ramsey interviewing Rabbi David Lipin. One comment/statement Rabbi Lipin made was “Courage is contagious”. It stuck in my mind and I began to meditate on the statement. So, how do we make our courage make an impact?
Here’s some I thought of:
I think an act of courage is saying you are sorry to someone or saying forgive me. And to reverse that, when someone says they are sorry to you, immediately say I forgive you. Then let it drop.
An act of courage might be turning off the video game, Facebook, TV, etc. and taking the kiddos outside to play. Or turning the above off and spending quality time nose to nose and toes to toes with your honey.
Or when someone has said negative things about you, choosing not to retaliate. Instead, ask God to help you put a seal on your lips.
Or remembering to put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher or picking up your dirty clothes.
Just sending a little “mind munchie”.
Have a happy day.
