Simple Smile...

Sometimes the greatest pleasures in life are understated. Sometimes it IS the little things that count the most and can make the biggest impact in someone’s life.

The past couple of weeks have been a bit trying for me (maybe for you,too). In this trying period it has felt as if I might be walking down the path all alone. But then up pops someone to offer me encouragement.  That encouragement gives me the extra boost to keep pressing forward. Then I’d walk along, get discouraged and POOF another offer of encouragement comes from a different source. The encouragement I received showed me a couple of things. First —- we are not alone. God walks before us and right beside us. ALWAYS. Second —- He sends whispers to other people to send encouragement, right out of the blue. Third —– Listen to His whispers to be an ” ecourager ” to someone else. This might just be a passing thought about a friend, relative, acquaintance. When that thought passes through your mind remember them in a prayer, a text message, a phone call, an email or a personal visit.

The simple acts of kindness were greatly appreciated. My choice is to follow up and listen to the little whispers and do the same to bring a smile to someone else.

This act puts the law of sowing and reaping into full swing!!!!!
